I am a graduate of ethnology (Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan) and theology (PAT in Krakow). I also obtained the title of Doctor of Humanities in History (Jagiellonian University in Krakow). I work as a senior curator in the Stanisław Fischer Museum in Bochnia. I have been researching the Jewish past of Bochnia and the surrounding area for many years. The subject of my particular interest are the local Jewish cemeteries. This interest has resulted in books on the Jewish cemetery in Bochnia (e. g. Guide to the Jewish Cemetery in Bochnia, Bochnia 2018), Nowy Wiśnicz (e. g. Jewish Wiśnicz, Kraków 2016, published with Piotr Szlezynger), and Brzesko (Jewish Cemetery in Brzesko, Brzesko 2001). I am also the author of articles published in „Rocznik Bocheński” and chapters on Bochnia, Brzesko and Nowy Wiśnicz in Adam Bartosz’s book Galicyjskim szlakiem chasydów (Galician Trail of Hasidim, Krakow 2015).
